Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how studibo («we,» «us,» «our») collects, uses, and protects information when you use our free AI homework-help website (the «Service»). By using the Service, you agree to this policy.

What we collect

  • Chat inputs. The questions, problems, and text you send to Remy, our AI study assistant, so we can generate a response.
  • Usage and analytics data. Standard technical information such as pages viewed, time on page, approximate location, browser and device type, and how you interact with the site. We collect this using Google Analytics and Yandex Metrica.
  • Cookies and similar technologies. Small files that help the site work, remember preferences, and power the analytics above. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

We do not ask for a name, home address, or payment details to use the Service.

How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

  • generate homework help and run the AI assistant;
  • operate, maintain, and improve the Service;
  • understand how the site is used and make it better;
  • keep the Service secure and prevent abuse.

Third parties

  • AI model providers. To generate responses, your chat inputs are sent to third-party AI providers that host the underlying models. They process the text to return an answer and handle it under their own terms and privacy policies.
  • Analytics providers. Google Analytics and Yandex Metrica process usage data as described above.

We do not sell your personal information.

Data retention

We keep information only as long as needed to run and improve the Service, or as required by law. Analytics data is retained according to the settings and defaults of the analytics providers.

Children’s privacy

studibo is intended for students. Some students are children, and we take that seriously.

If you are under 13, please use the Service with the consent and supervision of a parent, guardian, or school. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without appropriate consent, consistent with laws such as the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Where the Service is used through a school, use may also involve student-privacy rules such as the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA); schools are responsible for the consents they are required to obtain.

If you believe a child has provided us information without proper consent, contact us and we will delete it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete information about you, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, email us using the contact below and we will respond as required by applicable law.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version will always be posted on this page, and continued use of the Service means you accept it.
